I am very proud to be teaching at my alma mater (class of 1987). Murray High is a special place to me and my family. After graduating high school in 1987, I attended Murray State University (go Racers!) and graduated with a B.S. degree in accounting. In 1999, I obtained a second B.S. degree in business education, and in 2004 finsihed my master's degree in secondary education.
I am married to another Murray High alum, David McDowell, who also teaches in our great system. We have one daughter, Sarah, who is a student at Murray Middle.
While not teaching (or working on degrees), I serve as assistant high school golf coach, sponsor the yearbook, and advise the FBLA club with Ms. Adams. I also enjoy golf and cheering for the Tigers!

- Tutoring, make up tests, and Computer Lab hours are available as needed by appointment.
- Note - Ms. McDowell arrives at school by 7:15 daily and is available most days after school until 3:45.
