CFSB Sponsors Super Hero Spring Festival

Murray, Ky., April 25----CFSB Bank provided $2,082 as sponsors of the upcoming Murray FRYSC 2022 Super Hero Spring Festival,” to be held Thursday, May 5 at Murray Elementary School from 5-6:30 p.m. Hosted by the Murray Family Resource Youth Service Center, this event is focused on creating Education Readiness for families prior to their children entering kindergarten. “With only fifty percent of Kentucky's five-year-old children being ready for Kindergarten, this initiative will remove no- academic barriers and provide school based family support as preschoolers transition to kindergarten.,” said Morgan Carman, Murray FRYSC coordinator.

The event will be held at Murray Elementary School, 111 S. Broach Avenue. During the evening free books, hero costumes, make and take activities as well as a bounce house will be available. A sensory room will also be available for children with special needs.

The evening has been designed to greet smaller groups at once so children will have a more beneficial experience, while meeting future teacher and classmates. Children and their parents are invited to attend at times based on their last alphabetized last names: A-H 5 p.m., I-P 5:30 p.m. and Q-Z 6 p.m.
