Kentucky Center for School Safety Announces "Strong Roots. Safe Schools" for Annual Kentucky Safe Schools Week


The Kentucky Center for School Safety (KCSS) has officially announced the theme for Kentucky Safe Schools Week 2026: "Strong Roots. Safe Schools." Scheduled for September 14–18, 2026, this year's campaign highlights the crucial need for ongoing vigilance and proactive measures to maintain secure learning environments across the Commonwealth.

Kentucky Safe Schools Week aims to help schools strengthen their safety initiatives through targeted activities, classroom discussions, and community engagement. By raising awareness about school safety, the initiative helps students, educators, parents, guardians, and local stakeholders take active roles in creating safe, nurturing places to learn.
