This week celebrates the contributions of school psychologists and the important role they play in schools and communities.
This year's theme, "Finding Your Path," reflects the ways that school psychologists help students, families, and school communities set and achieve their goals. We commend the work of our school psychologists, Lindsey Hansen and Morgan McCall, who make a difference every day! #murrayschools

Your contributions of Christmas assistance, snack bags, clothing, school supplies, hygiene items, or connections to community resources can make a world of difference for a child in need.
Every donation, big or small, helps a student feel cared for, comfortable, and ready to learn. Together, we can lift up our Tiger community and show our students they are supported every step of the way.

U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in education rankings, today released the 2026 Best Elementary and Middle Schools rankings. The report includes about 47,000 public elementary schools and more than 23,000 middle schools that are ranked at the state and district levels, with state rankings specific to charter schools as a stand-alone category.
The 2026 rankings are based on publicly available data from the U.S. Department of Education. For district-level rankings, at least two of the top performing schools must rank in the top 75% of the overall elementary or middle school rankings to qualify for recognition.
The rankings methodology focuses on state assessments of students who were proficient or above proficient in mathematics and reading/language arts, while accounting for student background and achievement in core subjects. Student-teacher ratios are applied to break ties in the overall score.
U.S. News & World Report Ranked Murray High School seventh in the 2025 U.S. News and World Report. #murrayschools

Observed nationally since 1988, Red Ribbon Week is the largest drug prevention campaign in the United States. It began as a tribute to the sacrifice of DEA Special Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, who was murdered by drug traffickers in 1985.
