Saturday, the Murray High Speech Team took first place at the Racer Classic on the campus of Murray State University. Murray High won top honors out of eleven schools participating. Graves County came in second and Henry County (TN) placed third.

It’s playoff time, Tigers! The first round of the KHSAA 3A State Tournament is HERE at Ty Holland Stadium—Murray vs. Adair County! We need a loud, blacked-out crowd to cheer our Tigers to victory. Be there, wear black, and bring that Tiger roar!

The Murray High School Speech Team placed second at the Krider Invitational at Henry County High School in Paris, Tennessee on Saturday. Rossview took first and Graves came in third. Murray High students placed in the following events:

What a week at Murray High! 💛🖤
We wrapped up Underground Spirit Week with our teachers getting into the Halloween spirit — dressing up and keeping students on their toes. 👀🎃 So much fun and laughter filled our halls!

To top it all off, we ended the week with one of our favorite traditions — Dairy Queen ice cream, sponsored by The Murray Bank! 🍦 A huge shoutout to them for helping us bring smiles (and sweet treats) to our Tigers.

📸 Senior Outdoor Makeup AND Indoor Formal Pictures will be taken Wednesday, November 5.

Seniors:

If you did not have your outdoor photo taken by Bailey & B in August, you must arrive at 8:00 AM to have your picture made for the yearbook.

All seniors will also take formal drape and tux pictures.

Boys: Bring a plain white T-shirt to wear under the tux.

Girls: Bring a tank top to wear under the drape.

Be sure to bring your original proofs (the ones you received last week) with you when you come to school.

The Kentucky Department of Education is now offering a free SAT to all juniors, replacing the previously provided ACT.
🎓 Both the SAT and ACT are accepted by colleges and universities for admission, and students are encouraged to take the exam that best fits them.
The ACT is still available locally at various testing sites — students are absolutely welcome to take it!
