🎶🐯 Twenty-three Murray High School band students have been selected for the 2025 All-District Concert Band! 🐯🎶
These outstanding musicians earned their spots through a rigorous blind audition at Mayfield High School, where they prepared two excerpts, performed scales, and completed a sight-reading assessment. They competed against talented students from across KMEA District 1.

Each year, this auction helps raise funds for the class program and their Washington, D.C. trip.
The Leadership Tomorrow group includes junior and senior students from Murray High School and Calloway County High School.

Murray High School students Mila Hicks, Miranda Mathis, Stella Swaggart, and Dimitri Rubio have been selected to perform in the 2026 Kentucky Music Educators Association All-State Chorus!
These students earned this honor through highly competitive auditions held across the state. All four perform in the MHS Choir under the direction of Hunter Carter and April Sexton, both members of the Kentucky Music Educators Association. This will be the first All-State appearance for Hicks, Mathis, and Swaggart!

Jade will be signing with Thomas More University, and we can’t wait to honor her hard work and incredible accomplishments. 🎉🏃♀️🐯
On December 8, the MHS Choir performed at the Murray Woman’s Clubhouse for their annual Open House, and again for the Calloway County/Murray Retired Teachers. Under the direction of Mrs. April Sexton, our talented Tigers once again shined. Thank you for sharing your music and spreading joy throughout our community!
