Murray Middle School students enjoyed a fun outing to Corvette Lanes as part of the school’s PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) Reward Social for the months of October and November.
Students who met both behavior and academic expectations qualified to attend the trip, which recognizes and celebrates students who consistently demonstrate responsibility, respect, and readiness to learn. The event provided an opportunity for students to relax and celebrate their hard work.
Dr. David Meinschein, Ed.D., MISD Superintendent, visited the students while at Corvette Lanes and joined in on the fun.
Murray Middle School will continue monthly PBIS celebrations and supporting students as they grow, learn, and succeed. #murrayschools

Special thanks toTrenchMedias for the photos and the up close and personal look at our players as they take the field each time leading our Tigers to an undefeated season!

BAGS AND CLEAR BAG POLICY
As a reminder, the SEC’s clear bag policy remains in place at Kroger Field for this event as an additional safety measure and to facilitate entry. All bags are subject to search. Each fan will be permitted to carry one large clear bag – either a one-gallon Ziploc-style bag or a 12” x 6” x 12” clear bag – plus a small clutch that does not exceed 4.5” x 6.5”. The small clutch allows privacy for small personal items and is also easily searched. The clear bag policy improves public safety by making bags easily searched and significantly reducing faulty bag searches. Any non-clear bags left unattended at the gates will be evaluated and disposed of.
CHAIR BACKS
Fans are welcome to bring stadium seats or seat cushions to the game; the seats or cushions should be no wider than 18 inches.
LiveStream
If you are unable to make the trip, the game will be streamed live on NFHS but there is a charge.
PER UK AND KHSAA STAFF. At no time will you be able to come onto the field unless you have proper credentials. Our school will be fined if we do not adhere to this directive.

Jon Wright--- Tonight, Murray High will face a state power in Lexington Catholic as it tries to reach the sub-state round of the Kentucky State Football Playoffs for the first time since 2020.
This is the first time this has happened in Class 3A, where the Tigers were placed ahead of this season. All of the other seasons for Tiger football were spent in either 2A or A.
When four members of the Murray High 1974 State Championship Football team came to talk to the current team ahead of its homecoming game back in September, the occasion produced this moment in the locker room of the John Hina Fieldhouse where the current and former players posed with matching jersey numbers. On the front row, from far left, were: Mark Bradey assistant coach on the ’74 team, Gage Chapman, (current running back/linebacker—20); Dale McCuiston (’74 starting defensive back 20); Craig Suiter (’74 starting lineman—75); Ryan Walls (current starting lineman—75); Steve Porter (’74 starting lineman—73); Jaden McGehee (current starting lineman—73); Doug Shelton (’74 starting running back/defensive back—24) and Jordan Westbrook (current starting defensive back—24).
