We believe that sports are a microcosm of life. If you can be successful in the discipline of athletics, you can be successful in life. Competition will inevitably reveal the heart and character of an individual. Sports serve as an instrument in athletes' lives to allow them to learn who they are.

Athletics in Murray Independent is a tool that we are proud to offer for the purpose of furthering our students relationships with others. We desire that athletics will serve as the platform for growth in each athletes relationship with their family, their friends, and the world.

Although winning is an important aspect of sports, it's not the only aspect. However, to achieve success, our athletic program provides excellent training, high standards of sportsmanship, a healthy respect for competition, and a strong foundation of team values.
