MISD Stakeholders,
Today, my office was informed of six positive COVID-19 cases involving students of the Murray Independent School District. All students (two online) are enrolled at Murray Middle School.
I was also notified of one positive adult case of COVID-19 regarding an employee of the Murray Independent transportation department.
Contact tracing has been completed by our school health coordinator with assistance from the Calloway County Health Department.
Individuals who are considered a close contact have been notified.
Murray Independent Schools will continue to update COVID-19 information as it becomes available.
