MISD Stakeholders,
Today, my office was informed of three positive COVID-19 cases involving employees of the Murray Independent School District. All employed at Murray Middle School.
I was also notified of two positive student cases of COVID-19. One enrolled at Murray High School and the other at Murray Middle School.
Contact tracing has been completed by our school health coordinator with assistance from the Calloway County Health Department.
Individuals who are considered a close contact have been notified.
Murray Independent Schools will continue to update COVID-19 information as it becomes available.
