Murray Preschool/Head Start and Early Head Start will hold registration for the 2021-2022 school year on Friday, March 5, 2021.  Registration for new applicants will be held via phone registration, due to COVID-19.  Registration is by appointment only, please call 270-809-3262.

 

The Preschool/Head Start program serves eligible three and four-year-old children (to qualify-need to be three or four by August 1, 2021) and children with disabilities.  A limited number of tuition slots are available on a “first come-first serve” basis for children not otherwise eligible.  The Early Head Start program serves eligible pregnant women, infants and toddlers to age three.  Early Head Start children are served at a center located on the first floor of Alexander Hall on MSU campus.  Preschool/Head Start children are served at one of five sites:  Alexander Hall, the Willis Early Childhood Center, Murray Elementary Preschool, the Whitten Center or the Ruby Simpson Child Development Center/MSU campus.  For more information, please call 270-809-3262.

 

Transportation services are provided within the Murray School District only, for preschool children.  Head Start staff will assist families to understand and access transportation options in order to participate in Head Start program activities.  Transportation services are not provided for Early Head Start.
