Stakeholders of Murray Independent Schools,
Today (04/02/21), the Murray Police Department announced as a result of the investigation into the threat made against Murray Middle School on April 01, 2021, the charge of Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree will be sought against a juvenile.
MPD stated “the school was never in danger and would like to remind everyone that threats and threatening statements should never be made…………..as those statements have consequences.”
Murray Independent Schools would like to thank the Murray Police Department for their quick response, support, and investigation which led to a speedy resolution to this matter.
Enjoy the upcoming Spring Break. All district schools and programs will resume operations on Monday, April 12, 2021.
