MISD On-Line Volunteer Training Live-2021-2022 Year

MISD Online Volunteer Training Now Live

The MISD boasts one of the most successful volunteer programs in the state.  After a full calender of in-person volunteer trainings, which 291 approved volunteers joined the program, our online training is now available @ https://bit.ly/2FzVHdm.  MISD volunteers are required to complete yearly trainings, and have a current state background check on file.  (Background checks are good for five years).

When visiting the online training, follow the links, complete online application, view the power-point training, and complete quiz.  Please check to ensure your background check is current, then email your paperwork to sherry.purdom@murray.kyschools.us.  However, if you are new to the program and/or have an expired background check, please drop off all paperwork to the Central Office @ 208 S. 13th Street, with the suggested $10.  (If the $10 fee presents a hardship, please let us know).

Completion of background checks at the state level varies.  In the event you wish to accompany your child as a chaperone, or any other upcoming activity, it is recommended to complete your training now to allow time for all required materials.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact sherry.purdom@murray.kyschools.us.
