Murray High School Speech Team Wins the Region

The Murray High Speech Team continued their tradition of excellence and won their seventh consecutive regional title over the weekend. In addition to the overall team win, Murray High took nineteen of twenty-eight individual event awards.

All team members who competed in the Murray Regional Tournament have qualified for the Kentucky High School Speech League State Tournament that will be held March 11-12 on Northern Kentucky University's Campus.

"Thank you again for all your support for our students and this activity. I look forward to getting the team on the road to an in-person state contest and what we hope will be a return to normalcy," said Michael Robinson, MHS Speech Coach.   (The photo marks the first time the team has gathered all of MHS regional slate together in one place.)
