MURRAY HIGH SPEECH STUDENTS EARN HONORS

MHS Speech Team Members Recognized

Murray, Ky., May 10, 2022- Murray High School Speech Team seniors Caroline Koenig, Katelynn Stanczyk, and junior Raegan Settle have been recognized as Academic All Americans by the National Speech and Debate Association. This honor recognizes academic rigor, competitive speech and debate success, and personal excellence. In order to be eligible to receive the award, students must have completed at least five semesters of high school; earned the degree of Superior Distinction in the National Forensic League Honor Society; have a GPA of 3.7 or higher; and demonstrated outstanding character and leadership. From more than 141,000 student members of the National Speech and Debate Association, fewer than 1,000 students earn the Academic All American Award every year.
