Matthew Ashlock, MHS Leadership, discussed the recent opportunity he created for MHS students whose high school schedules didn't allow room for classes at the Murray/Calloway ATC Center to explore an array of Medical Careers.

Murray Schools gifted and talented program is in collaboration with The Commonwealth of Kentucky and the Kentucky Association for Gifted Education to recognize the need to increase public awareness regarding the unique educational, social and emotional needs of gifted and talented students, and outstanding gifts and talents present in children and youth from all cultural groups, and across all economic strata.

The goal of helping gifted children reach their full potential, must be shared by the entire community including policymakers, educators, business leaders, civic organizations, and parents; as gifted students in Kentucky provide our state with a vast potential resource for leadership in all areas of human pursuit, and the economic future of Kentucky depends on developing all students. #murrayschools
