Kaci Bolls and Nathan Meckel, authors of the children's book, Dare To Be Me, visited the Murray Preschool Head-Start Classes and Murray Elementary School kindergarten students.
The MISD Foundation For Excellence purchased the book for all Kindergarten and preschool students in the Murray Independent School District.
Bolls is an MHS alumnus and kindergarten teacher in Nashville, as well as a recording music artist. Meckel is a producer, composer & songwriter creating custom music for films, television, ads.
The duo team visited all sites of Murray Preschool Head Start Centers at Willis Center, Alexander Hall, Ruby Simpson, and Whitten Center. Bolls and Meckel then visited Murray Elementary kindergarteners and concluded their visit for a performance in the MES gym for first, second, and third grade students.
