The Murray Middle School Academic Team competed at the Governor's Cup Regional competition on Saturday at Graves County Middle School.
The quick recall team finished third overall. The team also received the sportsmanship award. There were three individual State Finals qualifiers. Liam Williams finished sixth in science. Carrie Mills finished third in Arts and Humanities. Edward Utgaard finished fifth in composition.
The team will travel to the Galt House in Louisville on March 9 to compete at State Finals.
